Top Producer's Panel What did the three agents on HomeGain's Top Online Producer's Panel at Real Connect all have in common? They all "do HomeGain" their way. They follow the "dos and don'ts" when they customize, present their services and the type of service they provide, etc., but then they use common sense and use HomeGain to fit the way they do their business. Derek Kirk of Sacramento, who has closed sixteen HomeGain transactions and has many more in his pipeline, says he spends approximately thirty-five minutes responding to each profile. Mary Ann Morrar and Heidi Mueller spend just a few minutes personalizing their responses before sending them off, customizing very little, as they have created separate templates for each type of property they handle.    Tech Tip: Real Estate Connect 2001 I had the pleasure of attending my third "Real Estate Connect" conference recently.

HomeGain had a well-attended meeting called "Deal with It - Learning to meet the demands of online sellers and buyers." One of the highlights was three top producers explaining how they get business online and on HomeGain.

Perhaps the most heartfelt comment came from panelist Heidi Mueller who said, "When the Internet came, I thought I was

done - I thought we'd all be order-takers." Heidi thought she better "learn to use the Internet" if she "didn't want to be used by the Internet."

The three Northern California agents honored for their online talents were Heidi Mueller of Prudential California Realty in San Francisco; Mary Ann Morrar with Property Professionals in Fremont and Derek Kirk, Century 21 Haley and Associates in Elk Grove. These agents have not only learned to meet the demands of online consumers, they're turning those demands into commissions, referrals and satisfied clients. Congratulations!
